« backThe Abloy EL490 electric motor lock is designed for narrow stile wooden or metal doors, available in 29mm backset.
APPLICATIONS:
- interior and exterior doors of offices, business premises, hospitals and schools
- exterior doors of apartment buildings
- exit doors
- fire rated doors
- doors with door automatics
FUNCTION:
- a pull outside, inside handle or handle and pull: door can be opened by pushing or pulling when the electrical control is on (e.g. timer, reader, push button). Inside handle opens the lock always.
Features
• Easily reversible dead bolt and trigger bolt
• Inside handle operates at all times or can be controlled electrically in two way access controlled doors (electrically controlled handle will not meet EN179 or EN1125)
• Meets EN179 and EN1125 for emergency and panic exit doors (when inside handle is mechanically controlled and installed with suitable hardware) and EN1634-1 for fire resistance (when used with correct exit hardware)
• Tested to draft standards prEN14846

Fail locked outside
Free egress from inside when handle fitted.
